Education and Residency
Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Texas in Arlington. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in the Chicago Proper, before he went on to an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery with University of Arizona, College of Medicine – Phoenix, where he later completed a vigorous and extensive residency training in the field. Dr. Nguyen further advanced his training in orthognathic and open joint surgeries with a short fellowship in Seattle after residency.
Through his rigorous training, Dr. Nguyen has gained profound experience and knowledge in a wide range of maxillofacial procedures, including safe administration of anesthesia and deep sedation, wisdom teeth extraction, orthodontic surgical treatments, advanced implant dentistry, bone augmentation, corrective jaw surgery, surgical management of temporomandibular joint disorders, complex facial trauma and reconstruction, and treatment of benign oral/facial pathology. Empathy, compassion, a safe approach to surgery and a constant desire for improvement and growth are the central components in his philosophy for patient care.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Nguyen enjoys time with family, friends and his dog Ryx, spending time outdoors, doing house projects, exploring new restaurants and fitness.
